From first blush, it does not seem as if your request is actually a LNF rate help request, but just an overall "I want to spend less" request. So, considering that, unless you are limited in your choices to FULL SERVICE hotels, then you must be kidding? There are
many hotels within about 15 miles of LAX* which are under $200 for those two nights, most of them CY, SHS, and RI. However, if you do require FS, and you are willing to travel a bit farther, Long Beach Marriott, at $204/night for those two nights, is 21 miles from LAX, and Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport, at $183/night for those two nights, is 27 miles from LAX. All of the rates I found were without any kind of discount or special rates, not even AAA.
*ranging from $149-$189/night for two nights, eight of them within 9 miles.
