These numbers are only indicative but both JFK flights look approx 50% full (actually ticketed and seats allocated). Best advice we can give you is set up a seat alert on ExpertFlyer.com

You need Z class availability to open up and at present, EK's inventory management system has both the IAD and JFK flights locked down tighter than Fort Knox - ie no Z class available. Good luck, let us know how you go.
