I'm at NRT IFL now. The departures board shows:

Los Angeles - 5:55pm - UA33 - Cancelled
Los Angeles - 5:55pm - UA801 - On Time

Of course the reason is that 33 is sCO and 801 is sUA, so it really is a cancellation and an add. But I saw some pax here in the lounge look at it and panic when their eyes went immediately to "Cancelled."
Why are they using odd number NRT-LAX - usually Westbound is odd # and East is even.
