I'm not sure which part of what I posted you are confused about. It's all "true." One person posted that she had to take her e-reader out of its case. Other people quickly chimed in that they did not have the same experience in multiple trips through LHR. I don't think any of us are lying about our experiences, just reporting them as factually as we can. Take our posts for what they're worth and then plan accordingly for your trip. That's the best anyone can offer.
