Indeed. Had that happen this past weekend with an RPU-supported upgrade segment; at check-in at T-24, that segment dropped off the itin, and when UA opened R space up inside of 24 hours, I didn't automatically clear (and in fact for all intents and purposes appeared to be only CPU-waitlisted, and losing ground the entire time at that). It took a call to clear it.
