No, don't call them. They are still confused about the window as they were two years ago. The window opens exactly at departure time at departure point minus 168/96/48 hours depending on status, for each segment of your trip. If you are flying LHR - YVR (14.25) and YVR - YYC (18.00), you request your 1st upgrade at 14.25 London time 168/96/48h prior. Then wake up at 2 a.m. in LHR to request an upgrade for the 6 p.m. connecting flight from YVR to YYC. The same rule applies on the YYZ - SYD route via YVR. Even though you are travelling on flight 033 from YYZ to SYD, you must request upgrades separately for YYZ-YVR and YVR-SYD at the appropriate departure time windows. Good luck if you are figuring local Australian and Canadian times in Bora Bora.
