I was on DL173 into NRT on Monday...at takeoff we were told there would be rain and maybe snow showers in Tokyo, was that much snow unexpected?

We diverted to NGO for a few hours, finally made it to NRT about 8:30, then sat on the tarmac for another half hour waiting for de-icing planes to clear the way. No NEX or limousine bus, the Keisei trains were running but the last Skyliner was sold out by 9:40, ended up taking a slower train and triumphantly dragging my bag across the slush into the Hilton at 12:30 AM.

Should have known it would be a long day when the FA spilled a bowl of miso on me...
