Luxor? No. Really, no. Don't go there for a honeymoon.

I have a love/hate relationship with Venetian/Palazzo. Never stayed there, but have played there and dined there a lot. Seems more geared toward the convention crowd with their extensive on-property facilities.

Wynn/Encore? used to love this place. But it's changed. It's going after a specific crowd now. I'm not part of that crowd. But if you are into the night club scene, you'll love it.


Bellagio is nice, but it seems to always be a massive zoo. It's very popular and it draws in the lookie loos that get in the damn way.

I really like Aria. Was supposed to be MGM's top end property, but still seems to usually price below Bellagio. Nice rooms, and it's not close to the zoo as the Bellagio.

Caesars Palace? If you get a good rate, maybe. But I can't get a good rate there. Place is a cluster f. Sorta like Bellagio in that it always seems to be a big zoo.
