Maybe they were concerned about running out of rooms and needing to make the last singles share, but still, it seems unfair to me.
I didn't really have a problem with it and I was in Business Elite. If I had been traveling with my wife I would definitely would have liked to stay in the same room as her and would have been ticked if by the time we got through the line there were no more doubles left and we had to be separated.
