Not sure if the AVOD on the 748 is the same as the 744 (new F), but I will say that there seemed to be a lack of movies in comparison to what UA offers. Seemed even the old LH F AVOD had a larger selection.
That aside...flew FRAORD yesterday on the 744 in new F (was originally booked FRASFO on UA). Let me tell you from getting picked up for a transfer in a Porsche, to the lounge, to the actual service, any chance you have to fly LH F it is well worth the effort of constantly checking inventory, etc. They really made the experience seamless and worth 24 hours of flying ISTFRAORDPHXSAN (other than the PHXSAN portion on US....apparently a bag of popcorn is considered an additional carry-on)
