I searched for a IP/Quad thread in which to post this but didn't find one and there does not appear to be one of the "consolidated threads" for this hotel.

We've been staying at the IP for some time now and still haven't bothered to figure out which towers they're calling Tower 1, Tower 2, etc. We usually just get rooms in terms of "the quiet side," "the loud side," "up high," "low floor," etc.

I am interested in knowing:

• Which tower is which? Obviously, pink is the motel-type Capri section, but which is Tower 1, Tower 2 and so on? I color coded the image below going on the presumption that each "Tower" is one of the "L" shaped blocks. If that's not right, how are they divided?
• What are the relative ages of each tower? Are they numerically oldest-to-newest?
• Does each tower have every type of room (classic, deluxe, luv tub, king suite, deluxe king suite)? If not, how are these rooms distributed?
• Which are original and which have been renovated?
• Given the ongoing construction and transformation from Imperial Palace to The Quad, any word on which (if any) rooms will get remodeled and in what order that would happen?
• Finally, for those who have stayed in various places throughout this hotel, which rooms are the best and which should be avoided? Where is your favorite room location? Why?

Is there enough interest/activity for this hotel for THIS to become the "consolidated thread"?
