Duh! I really am mentally mis-attuned these days.... I had got so used to getting next to nothing on non-premium flights on BA, that I tend to automatically exclude them from my thinking. I'd forgotten that the revision of the AA/BA TATL arrangements had also affected mileage earning on other BA-coded flights.
