I would disagree about the Pd card being better than Amex Plat for lounge access. By most accounts, the concierge is far better, but Pd will cover your fee for one airline and then gives you PP. Amex gives you 3 of the big 4 domestic carriers (with guests) plus PP Select.
unless something has changed, guests cost $27 per visit with amex platinum via PP-select. And for the non-PP Select access you have to be traveling same-day on the lounge's airline.
Pd has given several people UC and SC memberships. Like I said, Amex platinum lounge perks can work for some people but for me the two lounge memberships and Lounge Club are working out better and at a lower cost (owing to guest access).
