Hi,

I signed up for the Barlcays US DM MC about 4 months ago. Since then, I have charged about 10K and paid if all off before it was due.

I have an excellent FICO and a pretty decent income for the credit limit they gave me.

I called Barclays and requested an increase in the credit limit. They want to do another credit check (they just checked 4 months ago) and wanted other info.

Is this normal? I had a limit that was almost 3x what I have on the US MC on my last Visa...it had been raised without even asking.

Is credit tighter now?
