I don't care that TSA had an awards ceremony. Other public agencies have them, and I think that's okay because employees of all sectors benefit from recognition and positive reinforcement. I'm surprised that traveling to Hawaii during the peak season was approved, though, especially after the GSA awards ceremony fiasco a couple of years ago. Would it be funny or sad if TSA paid for the travel using FF miles?
