While curious as to why this happened, does it matter? As long as you have valid CX reservations and corresponding CX ticket numbers, you should be set. It didn't drive incremental expense, it doesn't limit lounge access or anything like that. I agree it is odd, but I would personally focus on the prize - premium travel on CX! Enjoy.
Thanks. Yes I am happy with the bookings but I do want to know how to get around the issue next time. The receipts were just submitted for visa applications I do hope they don't get confused by bookings from aa and ba with total 4 record locators for 3 people.
