This was my first booking so I did not know what I was doing. But the BA agent on the phone couldn't help me either. The only thing he suggested was that he book one segment and I book the second segment at the same time so we were less likely ending up with only one segment. I guess I didn't overpay after all but exactly how should I have booked it? I tried multiple city booking options but I kept on get red system error messages.
