Never taken AC J, but LH is always excellent in the food and service in my opinion. That said, I totally agree with 787fan that the seat trumps all, which means that UA is even worth considering compared to the old LH or OS angled seats. (Plus the new UA entertainment is far better than LH or old OS.)
I frequently fly UA C, and I agree the hard product and entertainment trumps LH C. The pictures of OS C seem more like economy plus. Based on your responses, as well as my own research, I am inclined to go with AC Executive First and keeping my fingers crossed that LX F or J opens up, or I get new LH F closer to the travel date.
