Jeff, you have a good thing going, but you're wimping out on me. Catering to people who are not happy with simply a free upgrade from a $300 seat to a $1200 seat is not the way toward a profitable airline.

Agreed, they better not be prioritizing status over full fare customers. The old star order was good, with GS > 1K/full fare > etc. I would think a priority list where full fares were up with GS or at least over 1Ks would be fine too.
