Moving to ua from aa exec plt
Hi There!

Need some help from the flyertalk community. I recently moved from Dallas, TX (AA Hub) to Denver, CO (UA Hub). I am Exec PLT on AA, but getting tired of having to connect either through DFW, LAX, or ORD to get anywhere. I prefer to take a direct flight if possible - and it looks like UA is my only shot out of DEN in terms of a major carrier. UA is willing to match my Status to UA Premier Platinum from AA Exec PLT if I am willing to make the move (due to my company's corporate account) - without completing a challenge. The status will be good for 2013.

Here's what's important to me: 1.] UPGRADES I have a pretty good ratio with AA .. above 85%. 2.] Airline Club - how does it compare to Admirals?

Just wanted to generate some discussion on reasons why making the move is positive based on other's experience switching over to UA from another carrier where they held elite status.
