I had an expunged *arrest* from 1980. In accordance with State law (which says you can deny the arrest) I answered "no." About 30 minutes later, they called me up on the phone and told me I was denied for the GOES program. So I'm going to send a letter to their ombudsman and then think about it for a few days. I am friends with several congressmen (can you believe it... congressmen hanging out with scum like me). I may open a dialog to see where it goes but I bet they deny me. Now I just need to see if I get hassled the next time I enter the country. If I do, I'll grab a lawyer and go to town on them I guess.
