service on board is usually good with ai....did you get a chance to question this????i had the same thing happen to me on a recent flight....pressed the button & no one showed up for a couple of minutes & the light turned off by itself....so i pressed it again & the fa came over....i asked if there was a problem with the button but i just got an apology, no explanation....
