I'm debating between the Sheraton, Copley Place and W. I know they are all different price ranges, but I'm not as concerned about that as I am about location/quality.

Need 2 more stays this year to hit Platinum for the 1st time. Woot woot.
I loved the location of the W, but minimal PLAT recognition and no upgrade for me. Easy walk to Chinatown, Boylston, Park St stations; and an easy walk to anywhere downtown, financial district, and even the North End if you like city walking. Lobby bar is good, but pricey. I averaged things out by walking one block up Tremont St. to Maria's Taqueria... great cheap burritos.

Sheraton has great upgrades widely available, but I personally did not care for being dependent on the Green Line to come and go. Not specifically an issue right now, but I stayed there during a Sox homestand and evenings were... difficult. Even the E to Prduential was a mess, albeit with less shoving and "Yankees Suck!" chants. It is a good location to stick around Back Bay and venture on Newbury St.

Westin is very nearby and attached via indoor mall, but I haven't stayed there.

I'm looking at trying the Liberty next time I'm in town.
