With the Y "Mini Cabin" reduced from 4 to 3 rows to accomodate MCE, I do not see why it would shorten the J cabin BUT...

JFK-SFO yesterday in 6D sold as "First" on a 763, the seat seemed to recline less than usual, something more like on the 757L. Both my neighbor in 6G and I noticed it and talked about it. It may be that row 6 always has a limited recline (I usually choose rows 3 or 5 D or G according to FEBO but 6 was all that was available when I booked). It may also be that both seats were behaving abnormally by coincidence. Since this was my first trip on a 763 with MCE, I thought there might be a link.

On a different topic, with the new "Book your entree" availability on that route, FEBO becomes less relevant. I was surprised to see it offered also on ORD/LGA. Will it become the rule ?
