I'm almost certain that it was the same at Amanpuri when we went earlier this year. However, I think they only charged us for the difference between the price of the continental breakfast and what we actually ordered.
I can confirm this both at Puri and Summer Palace as well. I also had to have them correct the bills at checkout to only charge the delta in price for each breakfast.
Not a pleasant or expected experience.
