I did not upgrade my iPad 2, primarily because there was an issue with wifi reception. Has that been fixed yet? I know 6.0.1 just released but that was primarily for iPhone 5. My iPad 2 isn't jailbreaked and no plans to do so.

I'm not trying to rekindle a war here so please just stick with your own personal experience. Thanks!
Positives:
  • The "reply by text" option on incoming calls is very useful.
  • DND is great for travel in a wildly different timezeone.
  • The 'pull down to refresh' movement is now more consistent across built-in applications.
  • Context menus are better - particularly with SM integration.
  • Some heavier apps seem faster. I use "City Maps 2 Go" a lot when abroad, and it's significantly better under iOS6.

Negatives:
  • Sorry, I can't not mention maps. I rely on them a *lot* (on foot/bike) and the new ones simply don't do the job. The workarounds are poor.
  • iCloud is being naughty and syncing things I haven't asked it to, eating up my data allowance in no time. And the battery for that matter - I had a few "wow, that went down to 20% in an hour" moments recently that seem to have gone from switching iCloud completely off.
  • On my iPad more than my iPhone, I'm seeing several unexpected data slowdowns/cutoffs on wifi, even when I know my home network is working perfectly well from other devices. Only solution is to hard reset the device - having to do it about once every 2 weeks. Not critical, but remarkably tedious.
  • Facebook integration is a little *too* transparent. I've found a few occasions where I've ended up thinking I'm sending an MMS to someone only to find it's been sent to the nether regions of their Facebook account. It then gets entered in the Messages list under that person's name, and impossible to distinguish the two. Very annoying.
  • Did I mention maps?
  • It seems less tolerant will relatively poor wifi connections. Three bars? No problem. Two? No chance.
  • MAPS
