I live across the street and at least as of last night, they had no power. Not sure if they are open (I doubt it), but if they are I'm sure the guests are not happy.

Just reading about the tip issues in the posts above. I went to the W once for dinner and the Chandelier Room after. They overcharged nearly all of us in some way or another. My favorite was the mandatory 20% tip they include on all tabs at the bar, but neglect to point out and leave a nice blank tip line for you to fill out. I'm certain that most first timers there leave 40% total tips. Haven't been back, mostly because of that.
