I am also in the same boat. I still haven't received a refund of taxes of over $450. I received my miles back after 5 phone calls but haven't seen any taxes hit my credit card online account. It has been 2 weeks since the miles finally went back to my account. I guess I should start expecting a few more phone calls before I see my refund of taxes.
I would recommend to all those who have cancelled and redeposited miles that they should tally the records to confirm if the taxes have been refunded.
