The main point of AF F is actually ground service in CDG, that is why it is so horribly expensive. I find AF F ground service better than LH, LX, EK, CX and even SQ (when the AF lounge staff is not in a bad mood, that happened to me in the past. The Ducasse staff has always been great.). If you did not get F ground service, ask for a full refund as the in-flight product is not worth spending miles for, as you have understood. Have you flown to JFK in F as well?
I originally was confirmed SIN-CDG-JFK in F using 120000 miles for the J to F upgrade. Once they cancelled my reservation and they finally reinstated it, the CDG-JFK was full in F so I had to fly in J
