as far as extra legroom, I'm pretty sure that the bulkhead (row 9) has the same pitch as all the other seats, just with a little cutout for your feet to go into when in the "bed" position (where feet would go under the shell of a seat in front of you).
With both of you in a center seat, I'd plan on nobody swapping with you as those are the most undesirable seats in the cabin. But then you might get lucky...
