Anyone can drive the car; the issue really comes in if stopped by police or have an accident; the car doesn't have any id requirements to start engine etc

If the person turns out not to work for the same company ( in regions where work colleagues are permitted automatically ) and an accident occurs , then the renter will be in the same mess that they would be in by letting any other unauthorised driver operate the vehicle when unable to prove that the driver was eligable to drive
