Do you mount your iPad in your car? That's a big navigation device! One thing I love about the larger phone screens and smaller tablets is that, when mounted, they are akin to a Garmin but with much better data and images. If Apple fixes the iOS 6 map issue by providing detailed and accurate maps, live traffic, etc., then the upcoming Mini iPad could be used in this manner. It doesn't appear they will be doing this anytime soon, unfortunately. For now, phones like the S3 and tablets like the N7 are the best for in car nav. Even my older GNex works like a charm - super accurate, almost perfect.
