Am I correct that there is regular service (i.e. at least several times a day) between Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof and Stuttgart Neckarpark stations on the S-Bahn?

Am I also correct that U-Bahn service to Neckarpark runs only for special events (sporting events at the Mercedes arena, etc.)?

I'd like to base myself at the Hilton Garden Inn Neckarpark for two nights to visit the Mercedes, Porsche, and Simshein Auto & Technik museums. I plan to get around by train, so regular service to/from Neckarpark would be a big help.
