It makes no difference to your credit score over the long run. It just increases your chance to get approved. If you do a churn every 6 months as I do, it is much better to have 4-5 inquires that are all 6 months old than 4-5 inquires that are anywhere from 1 month to 6 months old. Inquires older than 6 months supposedly have less effect on your score. If you apply every 3 months, it probably makes less of a difference but still helps.
