I don't know about in the US but the General Aviation terminals in Nice and Dubai both rival the best first class lounges. Most Intl capable private jets are just fine & certainly not cramped as some stated. A GV is certainly a nice way for a Couple to travel
In the U.S. most General Aviation waiting rooms are perfectly fine but hardly luxurious..some leatherette chairs, a fridge with a few Snapple and Minute Maid orange juices...
As far a couple flying in a GV, sure it's great, but that's already serious $$$$...
For an experience that is comparable in cost to int'l F per person, you'd be looking at more people in a smaller plane.
By the time you get to a Lear, it's quite cramped.
