OK, so you spend 25,000 lifemiles to get into Asia in business by skipping the last segment, then you spend another 22,500 lifemiles to get from that city to RGN, so in total you spent 47,500. I don't see much savings here, considering US-RGN would cost you 60,000 lifemiles in business straight without any tricks and risks.
