The 10 weeks comment is a new one, I have only ever received the standard 6 to 8 weeks for manual verification. I suspect that when you reach the 7 to 8 week mark, some agents would prefer to just tell you it will take more time just to get you off the phone.
I had some travel clients that 3 of 4 were missing OU segments and we are still getting the run around from May and June flights.
The dont put this frustrating Star Alliance experience in those fluffy billboard and magazine ads. Seamless travel on 27 partners, my a#$.
