Pleased to report that while CM took 5 days to post the first segment, it posted correctly even with the additional digit added to my AC number. The following day the next flight posted at exactly 5 days as well.

I also sent an email off to the Director, Customer Experience for CM concerning the bizarre check-in issues at MEX and I received a detailed reply within a few hours and I also an offer of compensation for the hassle and time wasted that was both unexpected and generous. The compensation has already been received by me and I am shocked at the speed in which this matter was addressed. ^

Just a heads up for anyone travelling on UA, TA or CM via MGA, lol. Only CM Business Class pax are permitted access to the Sala VIP. I was permitted entry on my connection there last week but once inside I couldnt believe all the fuss about entry. It it worse than a 1970s rec room. And when I requested a second Coke from the attendant I was sternly told "only 1 beverage per visit" and she walked away. Perhaps she knows that I really didnt need that extra sugar anyways.

As far as the AV upgrade issue, I was specifically told my the AV Business Class counter that they dont do Star Gold upgrades so perhaps the 2 agents were uninformed; hence, why I indicated that AV never does it. If others got the upgrade, then awesome.

I stand by the fact that CM never does, lol. After 6 segments with them last week, nothing. I grabbed exit rows on all flights so I was fine but the E90 I took on a 4 hour flight with no entertainment really sucked. Great job AC, I love your E90s in comparison! ^
