Thanks very much for the help. I tried private browsing (nice trick to know) and then clicked the link--still 40K offer. Then, I deleted all cookies again. I had to click the link twice, but I still end up with the 40K offer. My Flyertalk is now filled with advertisements for the 40K card. Somewhere there must be a cookie that is killing me. Argh.
