Some more details (in German):

In short:
- The flight was above the Russian city Kasan
- ZRH was chosen because of operational reasons (easier to rebook pax)
- Flying to PEK was not an option as there are even less options to land (and handle pax) in Sibiria (in case the fight would have escalated again)
