I didn't call, I just logged into avis.com every day, and today (2 days and about 5 hours after the return of 12th rental), it says I'm Avis First at avis.com. ^ ^ ^

I haven't yet gotten an email about it. I presume I'll get that in time, but as long as the website knows that I'm First, that seems good enough.
