Normally you would expect at least one airline among the alliance would have the FFP agreement with member elect already after one year of announcement. For example, Kingfisher had agreement with BA, CX, AA etc after announcement. JAL signed up with CX during joining process.
MH has made a number of agreements with Oneworld members (eg, new codeshares with JL and CX) and pulled out of a number of agreements with member competitors (eg, dropping agreement with DJ/VA). Connecting FFPs would be one of the more complex agreements to get sorted out.
