FYI, I am currently looking at the Park Hyatt Chicago, in that case FHR provides a $100 F&B credit while Virtuoso provides a $75 F&B credit, so there is at least one case where inarguably the benefit is less valuable through Virtuoso.
Iīm >95% sure the Fairmont Santa Monica offered a $50 spa credit via FHR when I looked maybe a year ago.
As mentioned above, the amenities vary and can indeed be better with FHR at times, so I always recommend comparing all rates when you donīt want/need the added service of a Virtuoso agent. However, based on my (subjective) experience the overall value tends to be somewhat better with Virtuoso.
