my last reservation with Mrs GHT was adventurous on all those carriers.....

1. UA, I was rebooked, but 24 hours prior to leaving my UA segment was not present. AC worked with UA to have it added back in (should add that the flight was oversold by 93 pax).

2. SQ, Mrs GHT's TPE-SIN leg cannot be checked in via OLCI, called SQ to see why and they said it was not ticketed...... They called AC to verify and confirm.

3. I was also asked by SQ how I would leave SIN-Tokyo, as they can only see TPE-SIN on SQ followed by HND-FRA on NH...... I ended up calling ANA and Aeroplan to confirm everything are ok.......

4. SQ at FRA I was stopped at the gate because I was not ticketed...... I respectfully and pleasantly asked how I can do TPE-SIN and check in at FRA....then realize its not ticketed at the gate during boarding....... With an AC plane at the next gate, I suggested to them to figure this out with AC at FRA (which they did)...... Since SQ is very strict about closing the gate on time, I was advised that if they cant figure out soon, they will be leaving without me.... My word to them was, let Mrs GHT know that my contingency will be to fly AC directly home and will meet her at the airport that night. Vehicle has been arranged to pick her up at JFK-LGA.

5. On board the SQ flight we were asked if Mrs GHT was an employee......cause it was noted on the manifest...... Same question was asked at LGA by AC when they tried to rebook us on an earlier flight and Mrs GHT's booking kept on failing.........

So there you go..... not perfect for sure, even on the best carriers
