We just had a VERY nice stay here for an anniversary celebration. Reserved a patio room and was upgraded to an oversized patio room. It was on the ground floor with double doors opening to the patio directly facing the pool, which had only a few people in it. It was just wonderful to sit outside on the patio and sip one of their $5 bar specials. The hotel is adjacent to the connector of highways 101 and 12, but all we heard on our patio was a low hum. I'm noise sensitive but it posed no problem. Inside, the room was totally silent. Only suggestion I had was that the room have some artwork as all the walls were bare. Just some enlarged photos of the beautiful surrounding area would be perfect.

Front desk service was perfect. Robert not only pleasantly checked us in but escorted us to our room and got a bucket of ice for us. Soon after a bottle of wine, 2 Evians, and a plate of chocolate coated strawberries with a celebratory note of congratulations written in chocolate on the plate.

As the hotel has no Club, we had the Diamond breakfast the next morning and it too was outstanding. I had crab cakes Benedict and my wife had a shrimp omelet, both extremely tasty and at the high end, price wise, on the menu. No charges, including the tip, appeared on our bill at checkout.

This was our second stay here and we are looking forward to our next visit.
