The notable exception for DL is SLC, presumably because they have no competition to worry about and more of the JFK-SLC traffic will connect onwards.
I would think most people originating or terminating in NYC and loyal to DL would take LGA-DEN instead on DL. I think JFK-DEN would exist more for the connecting traffic.

As a BOS-based flyer, but one who has an Amex Platinum and would never, ever have bought a full J or F fare, this doesn't affect me at all in truth. I feel as though the number of people affected by this is pretty small. How much time does someone buying a full F/J fare really spend at the airport anyway? I prefer the simplified system, seeing someone ask if their LAX-FLL ticket at the LAX AC was good enough for access and holding the line up was (very mildly) annoying while trying to get in myself.
