I expect bubbashow will swoop in and claim that Delta's first class meals aren't worth $6, but that figure still strikes me as a borderline insulting. Indeed, it's not even enough to buy a meal at McDonald's.
About four years ago I was flying Continental IND-EWR when the crew determined that the shrimp they intended to serve over salad had spoiled during an hours long delay. They ended up serving shrimp-less salads and handing out $10 meal vouchers.
