I applied for my Global Entry Reimbursement code on FRI 7/27 at 12:30PM PDT, shortly after I became aware of the link going live.
So I felt it reasonable to have expected to have been sent a code at least by today (MON 7/30) and when I had not received anything by EOD, I decided to call the 1K desk to inquire.
After a 15 minute wait for a supervisor who knew what I was even talking about (duh!), she finally transferred me to the UAL Online Support line.
Then after another 20 minutes of various periods of hold and probing me with stupid questions that they should have already known the answers to, I was finally told that requests made on FRI were not processed until today, and so I would not receive my code until tomorrow (TUE). REALLY?
Why does this not seem to jive with all of the other posts of people here who requested and got their codes on FRI?
Come on United, after making us wait all of this time promising June, and then even after the post in this forum by the UA rep saying that it was finally coming the week of July 20th, how can you screw this up NOW???

This is just reason #329 why I finally decided to accept American's match of my status and why they will be getting all of my flying business going forward. They are in bankruptcy and yet somehow seem to be bending over backwards to reach out and accommodate REAL frequent flyers who bring long term revenue to their bottom line.

So UAL, I hope that all of your new once a year leisure customers will have half of the loyalty that many of us "over entitled elites" have had for you through all of your past decades of poor service, strikes and bankruptcy.
Sad to see a once proud and awesome airline die such a miserable and unnecessary death!
