I just think that it is the nicest way to arrive so i would go for the aman pick up. Especially in a chaotic and different destination compared to home. We did not have any vip pick up, but it worked really well and i felt that i was partly already there. If there is a special vip pick up, i am sure aman can organise it.

And i am not sure thst "just a normal taxi driver" would find the amanpulo lounge. It is NOT at the airport but completely separate (but obviously connected to the runway).
