It sounds fairly clear to me. The price for the trip was quoted accurately when you searched but it was "checked out" incorrectly. That does NOT sound like the price was changed, but an IT glitch. the actual price was listed.
My tickets were multi-city and there was no price listed as I clicked through until the end.
